For those who love timeless pieces with a hint of folk craft, our Neptune Pedestal Bowl is for you. Made for the slow moments, the Neptune Pedestal Bowl is an artisanal-footed ceramic dish created to hold your favorite small bites. We love using this piece as an olive oil dipping bowl, a small snack vessel, or a salt or spice cellar on your kitchen countertop. This bowl is the perfect artistic piece to add to your tablescape and grazing boards. Through sight, taste, and touch, practice the art of presence using objects built with intention.

Handcrafted by ceramicist Niki Shelley of Manu, the Neptune Collection is made in a dark, moody blue hue with slate-toned specks. Earthy in style yet reminiscent of deep ocean water and the infinite cosmos and galaxies, the Neptune Collection encapsulates the vast abundance you feel while experiencing the stillness of midnight at sea.

About The Maker

Located in Portland, Maine, ceramicist Aimee McLaughlin of Objet Aimee explores ancient forms, earthy color palettes, and nature-inspired patterns with an inventive funk factor. Each piece is a beautiful example of merging the past and present into a seamless coexistence.

Originally studying textile design, Aimee discovered her love for making ceramics and working with her hands, leading her to create a distinctive aesthetic involving texture, painted prints, and old European shapes.
